At Mithila Chitrankan, every hand-painted creation is crafted with patience, precision, and care. While some products are ready to ship, most of our collections are made-to-order, with our artisans beginning the painting process only after your order is confirmed.

Domestic Shipping (India)

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of your order and delivery location.
  • The exact shipping charges will be displayed during checkout.
  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
  • After dispatch, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS to track your shipment.

International Shipping

  • Shipping charges are calculated based on the destination and package weight.
  • The exact shipping charges will be displayed during checkout.
  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges imposed by your country are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

Order Processing & Dispatch

Ready-to-Ship Products

Ready-to-ship products are usually dispatched within 2–3 business days from the date of order confirmation.

Made-to-Order Hand-Painted Products

Our made-to-order products are hand-painted especially for you after your order is placed. Since every design is created by hand, production time depends on the product and the complexity of the artwork.

Estimated Production Timelines:

  • Hand-Painted Shirts, Kurtas & Jute Bags: Approximately 2–3 weeks
  • Hand-Painted Sarees & Heavily Detailed Products: Approximately 4–5 weeks
  • Custom or Highly Detailed Orders: Production time may vary depending on the artwork. Our team will inform you of the estimated timeline after your order is confirmed.

Once your order is completed, it will be dispatched immediately, and you will receive a tracking number.

Delivery Time

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Within India: 3–7 business days
  • International: 7–15 business days (depending on the destination and customs clearance)

Please note that delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, festivals, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

As our artisans begin working on your order shortly after it is confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or exchanged once they have been placed.
