At Mithila Chitrankan, every product is hand-painted especially for you after your order is placed. Since each piece is individually crafted by our artisans, every creation is unique and made with great care. We request you to read our Return & Refund Policy before placing an order.

Returns

As all our products are made-to-order and hand-painted after order confirmation, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or cancellations for products delivered in the correct condition as per the order.

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, we will gladly assist you with a replacement or refund after verification.

Returns or replacements are accepted only if:

  • You receive a damaged product.
  • You receive a defective product.
  • You receive the wrong item.

Any such issue must be reported within 48 hours (2 working days) of receiving your order. Please share:

  • Order Number
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Unboxing video

Note: The return or refund process may vary depending on the nature of the issue.

Refund Process

  1. Once we receive your request, our team will inspect the details provided and inform you whether your return or refund request has been approved.
  2. If your refund is approved and the payment was made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI, it may take 7–14 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  3. During peak seasons or high order volumes, the complete return or refund process may take up to 15–18 business days.
  4. If your approved refund has not been received within the expected timeframe, please contact us at mithilachitrankan@gmail.com.

How to Request a Return or Refund

Please email us with the following details:

  • Order Number
  • Reason for the request
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Unboxing video
  • Proof of purchase

Our team will review your request and guide you through the next steps if your claim is approved.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

  • Unused
  • Unwashed
  • In its original packaging
  • With all original tags attached

  • Every product at Mithila Chitrankan is individually hand-painted. No two pieces are exactly the same, making every creation unique.
  • Slight variations in brushstrokes, motifs, or colors are natural characteristics of handmade art and should not be considered defects.
  • Product colors may appear slightly different due to variations in mobile or computer screen settings.
  • As our products are made-to-order, orders cannot be cancelled or modified once placed, as our artisans begin the painting process immediately after order confirmation.
  • Please read the product description, size details, and estimated production & delivery timeline carefully before placing your order.
